GIRLS' GENERATION Gee Music Video

The nine-member South Korean girl group was formed in 2007 and currently is the top girl band to date.

Their song "Gee" holds the record as the longest No.1 single in the 2009 music charts and it was also named as the song of the decade by Melon, a Korean music site.

U KISS 0330 Music Video

U-KISS (Ubiquitous Korean International idol Super Star) is a South Korean boy band that was formed in 2008 and still is on of the top K-pop boy band today.

The group recorded materials for their album to be released in the United States when two of its members left the group in May, 2011 and they need to redo all the recordings made and need to have an audition for additional member.

G-DRAGON Heartbreaker Music Video

G-Dragon is Kwon Ji Yong, one of the leader of the South Korean group Big Bang.

As a solo artist, G-Dragon made his debut album in 2009 and his album "Heartbreaker was the most successful and best selling in 2009 and won the album of the year in Mnet Asian Music Awards 2009.

2NE1 Lonely Music Video

The South Korean hip-hop / pop all female group 2NE1 first appeared in a commercial campaign with another popular k-pop group Big Bang and recorded "Lollipop" as the campaign song.

Their first single "Fire" was released in 2009 and from then on, the groups' success is unstoppable.

2NE1 members are CL. Dara, Bom and Minzy.

"Lonely" is the second single from their mini-album, 2NE1 2nd Mini Album and also had a Japanese version.

BIG BANG Tonight Music Vide

Big Bang is a South Korean all male K-pop group that became the first foreign and first in South Korea group to receive the Japan Cable Broadcasting Award for "Best Newcomer".

The group started singing together in 2006 and still is one of the most popular K-pop group to date.

KARA Lupin Music Video

The all girl Korean group Kara debuted in Japan 2010 and was Japan's Rookie Artist for 2010. Kara's success reached their homeland and their talent was recognized.

Singles after singles, Kara's success was unstoppable. The group was the only female Korean group to be number one in the charts in Japan.

RAINBOW PIXIE Hoi Hoi Music Video

Rainbow Pixie the trio of South Korean girl singers, is the first unit of the seven-all girls K-pop group Rainbow.

Rainbow had their debut mini-album released on November, 2009 with the hit song 'Gossip Girl.' And also in this year, the group was being compared to another all-girl group Fin.K.L. and were told that the girls of Rainbow were physically inferior to the girls of Fin.K.L. and that their 'so-called' single was just to promote the group but truthfully there was no recording at all.

The Rainbow girls were challenged and released their debut single 'Gossip Girl' and rumors were quickly erased that the Rainbow girls are here, for real.

Rainbow also recorded Japanese songs and impresses hosts of various tv shows and audiences that easily, the girls endeared Japanese K-pop music lovers.

On January 3, 2012, DSP Media, the group's agency, announced that they will form units per units of Rainbow and from the original seven member, a trio was formed and the first unit was called 'Rainbow Pixie.'

Rainbow Pixie is composed of Jisook, Seungah and HyunYong and released their debut single 'Hoi Hoi' early this January. This is just the beginning for future plans for the group Rainbow and the units to be formed in it.

JYJ Get Out Music Video

JYJ, a South Korean pop group, is one of the few K-pop artist who recorded an album in three languages, Japanese, English and Korean.

The group was formally launched in 2010 though they had been singing in Japan for quite sometime when a lawsuit was filed against them due to their exclusive contract with SM Entertainment. It was said that their former management company will benefit so much with the long term contract and profits if their albums and singles will be successful was very disadvantageous to the group. In the end,the court ruled in favor of JYJ and can finally start a new career as an independent group.

JYJ's members, Jaejoong, Yoochin and Junsu, released their English album The Beginning in 2010, and from then on, the group's success was unstoppable. They are now one of the more popular K-pop group in the music business.

miss A, Bad Girl, Good Girl Music Video

miss A, as what the group wants it spelled out, is a group of four women from China and South Korea and one of the newest K-pop all girl group.

The group's members are Suzy, Fei, Jia and Min. Fei and Jia is recognized as two of the most recognizable faces in the K-pop industry with Chinese origin.

Originally a five-girl singing group, miss A traveled to China in 2009 to perform in various television shows with no official name yet and they were called the JYP sisters or simply Sisters. They were dubbed as the 'Chinese Wonder Girls'. But the group had gone with the continuous changes and most notable of it was the exit of one of its original member, Hyerim, to join the group 'Wonder Girls'. And with the exit of two of its members after Hyerim, thus leave Fei and Jia, the producers work with the two remaining members and held audition for additional 's members and found Suzy, who was then the group's trainee, and Min.

MBLAQ. It's War Music Video

MBLAQ (Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality) is a South Korean K-pop quintet with G.O., Joon, Seungho, Thunder and Mir as its members.

The group made their grand entrance to the K-pop world when they performed in Rain's Legend of Rainism concert on October 9, 2009. On that same week, they released their first single album 'Just BLAQ' which made the online offline charts in South Korea.

MBLAQ released their first studio album BLAQ Style on January 10, 2011. That same month, the group went to Japan to promote and made live appearances in various Japanese shows and was immediately became one of the more popular K-pop groups in Japan.

In 2011, MBLAQ won in two major music awards that gave them the niche in the growing South Korean music groups.

T-ARA, Lovey-Dovey, Music Video

T-ara is a South Korean all girl- K-pop group was formerly called the Super Rookies. The girls have high level of different interests that's why they choose Super Rookies. They have been training for three years prior to their formal launching.

Originally with five members, they launched their first single 'Good Person' in 2009 for the soundtrack of the Korean drama 'Cinderella Man'. But problems arose when two of its original members resigned from the group and delayed the debut launching of the group.

Auditions were done to form a new group and thus giving them a new name too, T-ara. Hwayoung, Qri, Boram, Hyomin, Soyeon, Jiyeon and Eunjung are the the seven members of T-ara.

SISTAR, So Cool Music Video

One the newest K-pop group in the land is the four member girl group Sistar. They were formed just last year and this early, the group has been receiving good reviews of their songs.

The group members are Bora, Hyorin, Soyum and Dasom.

Some of the members have their sub-groups but when wrapped up their first major album as a group, their attention are now focus on to promote their album with the catchy song 'So Cool'.

TEEN TOP, Crazy Music Video

Teen Top, a South Korean K-pop group is composed by six young men, whose aim is to bring k-pop fanatics into somehow a different twist of pop songs.

The group members L. Joe, Ricky, C.A.P., Chunji, Chongjo and Niel are six vibrant young men with talents in singing and dancing, were formed last year and made their debut appearance on MBC's Show! Music Core.

Their latest single 'Crazy' is from their mini album titled 'Going Crazy'.

Lee Hyun's new album out

K-pop star Lee Hyun of 8eight released his first and much anticipated album 'The Healing Echo' which features the track 'Because It's You.'

'Because It's You' lyrics is a song about a lover nursing a broken heart finding a new love. After giving up on loving, friends convinced him to try again and found a woman that eventually falls in love with her and becoming his one true love.
