MBLAQ (Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality) is a South Korean K-pop quintet with G.O., Joon, Seungho, Thunder and Mir as its members.
The group made their grand entrance to the K-pop world when they performed in Rain's Legend of Rainism concert on October 9, 2009. On that same week, they released their first single album 'Just BLAQ' which made the online offline charts in South Korea.
MBLAQ released their first studio album BLAQ Style on January 10, 2011. That same month, the group went to Japan to promote and made live appearances in various Japanese shows and was immediately became one of the more popular K-pop groups in Japan.
In 2011, MBLAQ won in two major music awards that gave them the niche in the growing South Korean music groups.
